To answer my own question...

What more could a kid want? For his big sister to quit playing with her new toys so we can get inside and have some cake!!!

Happy Birthday Bella!!!

She is five years old today! She had a really good day- full of fun. Her treat choices included- popsicles for preschool, cupcakes for daycare, and chocolate cake for her party. For presents she raked in money, a savings bond, a sprinkler, some flashcards, a Polly Pocket, and a bike. What more could a kid want?

Shooooooes

Zach has a new found love in life- it's shoes. Well, he's always liked them, but has just recently decided they are word worthy. Which, is a lot to him, as his vocabulary includes only "Abby, NO, Go, Rooooaaaaarrrrrrr, and shoe." At any rate, he was disgusted that Bella's shoes were covered in mud (it wasn't her fault- the baseball field was surrounded by it) and I captured his disdain in a picture.

We survived the recital

The recital was hectic, but for those of you who saw it, I think you'll agree, that 3 minute dance was worth all the hassle! It was adorable. I hope to get a video of it so I can keep it forever. I liked it so much, I voluntarily sat through it again the second night!

I am going to post a few different times on the same day since I have different subjects to cover...

Busy week ahead

For those of you who have had a child in dance class, you know the week I am about to have- RECITAL week. It started today with pictures. Monday is dance rehearsal at the studio. Tuesday is staging rehearsal at the auditorium. Wednesday is dress rehearsal. Thursday and Friday are recital nights. Ahhh! Hair parted on the left, bangs out of the face, ballet pink tights, with leather ballet shoes, costume needs to hang upside down to fluff the skirt, lots of makeup, and oh yeah, be sure to bake 4 dozen cookies for intermission! I signed my 4 year old up to have fun, never would have I dreamed the insanity that is to be- our first recital!

On top of dance activities, Christian needs to be at baseball at 6pm for games on Monday and Thursday- which is times I'm supposed to be at dance. I need a nanny!

None the less the costumes are cute, I've attached a picture. Also is a picture of Zach's new haircut from last weekend. Now all of my boys are buzzed.

Have a great week!
